   ABBA 8집의 앨범 커버는 스웨덴 스칸센 공원에 있는 Atelje Studio(디자인, 건축 스튜디오)에서 촬영되었습니다. 뒤에 있는 그림은 Julius Kronberg의 ‘Eros’입니다. 특히, 멤버들이 각자 다른 곳을 쳐다보고 있는데, 이것이 ABBA의 해체를 암시하는 것이라고 해석하는 사람들도 있습니다.
   이 앨범은 1981년 3월 16일부터 11월 14일까지 ABBA의 고향인 Sweden에 있는 ABBA의 Studio인 Polar Music Studio에서 녹음되었습니다. 특히, 이 앨범은 역사적으로 가치가 있는 앨범인데, 세계 최초로 디지털로 녹음, 믹싱된 앨범 중 하나이며, 1981년 처음 개발된 CD가 상업적으로 최초로 나온 것이 이 앨범입니다. 당시 세계 최초의 디지털 녹음을 할 수 있었던 Studio는 ABBA의 Polar Music Studio 였습니다. 그러나 당시 ABBA의 녹음을 담당했던 엔지니어는 디지털 녹음 방식이 꼭 아날로그 녹음 방식보다 좋았던 것은 아니라고 말합니다. 잡음은 제거가 되었지만, 특정 음역대를 CD가 오히려 담지 못하는 문제가 있었다고 합니다. 그리고 디지털 녹음을 하기 전에 이미 아날로그 방식으로 녹음한 몇 몇 곡들이 있어서 이것을 다시 디지털 변환을 하는 것에도 많은 어려움을 겪었다고 합니다.
