Slaughter To Prevail(보통 줄여서STP, 이기기 위해서 살육한다!)은 Alex Terrible이라는 러시아 메탈 보컬리스트가 있는 밴드다. 이 밴드의 장르는 데스코어라고 하는데, 흔히 사람들이 떠올리는 메탈의 악마같은 소리를 대표하는 대표적인 장르라고 하겠다. 참고로 알렉스 테러블은 세계에서 가장 깊은 그로울링을 가진 사람들 중 한 명으로, 최근 몇 년 간 세계에서 가장 핫한 메탈 보컬리스트다.

개인적으로 데스메탈에서 파생된 장르 중에서 멜로딕한 장르 빼고는 잘 안 듣는 편이다. 그래도 이 노래는 추천할 수밖에 없는 곡이다. 메탈 전 장르를 즐겨듣는 사람이라면 이 곡을 올해의 곡으로 뽑을 것이다. 특히 2:32부터 시작되는 알렉스의 악마적인 목소리는 메탈 역사에 영원히 남을 것이다. 영어로 부르다가 이부분만 러시아어로 바꾸어 부르는데, 가사를 몰라도 사악하지만 알면 더 사악하다.
